The relatively new museum of mountain photography, LUMEN, is situated in the heart of the iconic South Tyrolean mountains. Not only does it catch your eye from the outside, but it also captivates on the inside due to its fascinating mountain photography.

Spanning four floors at the summit of Plan de Corones, it houses the history of mountain photography as well as artistic works by mountain photographers from around the world. The „Shutter“ is particularly impressive – this is a giant shutter that can be opened and closed and therefore used as a projector screen.
